The Funding Process Through USG
Starting with an Idea for Funding
Any member of the Student Assembly may bring forward a proposal to the Ways and Means Committee during the weekly meetings to utilize funding towards a specific project! Typically, this is done through the Opportunity or Reserve Funds!
Request Review and Recommendation
The Ways and Means Committee reviews and votes on a recommendation for each request. We try and follow an objective procedure for each request beyond personal bias!
The USG General Body Vote
Each recommendation must pass the USG General Body by a majority vote. All members of the Student Assembly are welcome to attend and make public comment on issues that they feel pertain to them.
