Wisconsin / Chicago Break Bus

The Undergraduate Student Government charters one bus each holiday break (Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, and Spring Break) to transport students to and from O'Hare Airport (ORD) in Chicago at the beginning and ends of each of the breaks.

Step 1: Purchase Tickets

Tickets for the Break Bus can be purchased through the Michigan Tech Ticketing Office, which are available approximately a month before each break. For reference, a Spring 2024 Wisconsin / Chicago Break Bus ticket cost $138.75.

There may be an additional 2.3% fee if you purchase your ticket with a credit card.

Step 2: Fill out Liability Waiver

Once a ticket is purchased, each student riding the Break Bus must fill out a liability waiver form before riding. This Google Form waiver will be emailed to each student before tickets go on sale. Any student who does not fill out the liability waiver before the bus's departure will not be able to ride the bus.
