Receiving a Budget

Who is eligible for SAF Funding?

Any student organization that is registered with Student Leadership and Involvement and has open membership to all students is eligible for funding.  Funding will be allocated at the student government’s discretion. Factors that the are taken into consideration during budget hearings include (but are not limited to):

  1. Number of students impacted
  2. University impact
  3. Alignment with the university’s strategic plan
  4. Uniqueness of the opportunity

Monday, Feb. 8th – Monday, Feb. 15th Sign up for Budget Hearing Time Slot Sign-ups will be sent out via email and accessible via google calendar

Note: ALL submission requirements must be turned in before you sign up for a hearing slot!

Thursday, Feb. 18th – Sunday, Feb. 21st  10 minutes budget hearing with the Ways and Means Committee Location: Zoom

Thursday:  6:30pm – 11:30pm

Friday:        6:30pm – 11:30pm

Saturday:   8:30am – 11pm

Sunday:      8:30am – 11pm

Friday, Feb. 26th Allocation Recommendations Announced An email will be sent to all Student Organization Officers.
Monday, Mar. 15th Budget Appeals Sign-ups will be on Mar. 3rd and will close on Mar. 15th at 3:00PM

Appeals will take place from 4:00PM-6:00PM March 18th and 19th via Zoom.

Wednesday, Mar. 24th USG Votes on 2021-2022 Allocations Vote will take place at the USG general body meeting, beginning at 7:00PM.
Friday, Mar. 26th  Final Allocation Recommendations Announced An email will be sent to all Student Organization Officers.
