The Undergraduate Student Government is made up of a group of rotating students across it's entire existence, so it's important that things are kept consistent so that the body can provide the same services to the student body as before.
By the work of the USG Secretary and the USG Parliamentarian, meeting minutes and constitutional documents are kept up to date and are for public record. These documents not only host the history of the Undergraduate Student Government, but also guide the current body of students towards making consistent decisions that line up with precedent!
The General Body Meeting Minutes are available for the public to view. The public has the right to be involved in all open Undergraduate Student Government Body Meetings, and can provide their comments or concerns during the Public Comment section near the beginning of the meeting!
USG has both the constitution and bylaws to govern the actions and order of each of the body's meetings. While each document is followed by the word, changes are frequently made as the USG body sees fit to better clarify terminology or adjust precedent to match the fast-paced environment that is the undergraduate student body.
