Special Budget Groups (SBGs) Impact Campus
6 Registered Student Organizations across campus are designated as Special Budget Groups at Michigan Tech. These groups run by students have an immense student impact and a need for a special budget process and policy that falls outside of the regular RSO budget process. All SBGs must follow Board of Trustees Policy 7.06.
These groups may host events, distribute news across campus, or deliver services to the entire Keweenaw through their broadcasting. However, all SBGs serve an important role of serving students across campus.

Visit the USG Office
The Undergraduate Student Government Office is our best way of keeping in touch with students throughout each semester. Representatives are required to hold a couple office hours per week to be available to constituents that have questions about USG or their class / college in general.
Stop by and check it out! We're located at the Memorial Union Building 113, and can help you find other directions throughout the MUB. We're normally open 9AM - 5PM Monday through Friday on all days that are not university breaks for students

USG can be contacted in many different ways. We handle requests ranging from student concerns to funding requests to general questions about Michigan Tech. You can either contact your representative directly, or contact the Undergraduate Student Government body for information!

The Undergraduate Student Government is a Special Budgetary Group of Michigan Technological University. The Undergraduate Student Government's website is hosted on Michigan Tech property, and any and all logos that contain the Michigan Tech brand are owned by the university itself.
