Get to know the USG Executive Board, class representatives, college representatives, residential representatives, and associate representatives. All members of the Undergraduate Student Government are expected to meet certain attendance and involvement requirements as to connect to the student body.
All USG members hold 3 hours of office hours in the USG Office per week, and must maintain regular attendance to the USG General Body meeting and their specific committees.
The Executive Board is made up of dedicated students who oversee and operate within the Undergraduate Student Government. They are generally elected during the student-body elections, and are responsible for representing the views of the student body as a whole.

Each class of students at Michigan Tech has the opportunity to elect class representatives, who represent an entire year of students, regardless of their major.
At-Large Representatives represent the entire undergraduate student body, and are elected to serve as a major representative for students who have general concerns outside of their college or class year.
Each college at Michigan Tech has one or several students representing the students currently majoring in a program offered by that college. Students with academic or opportunity concerns should reach out to their college representatives to advocate for change.
Residential Representatives represent students living in on-campus housing at Michigan Tech, including all three of the residential halls. Students should reach out to their Residential Representatives if they have concerns about on-campus housing.
Associate Members are appointed by the Undergraduate Student Government President, and serve a supporting role to the student body. They have loosened requirements as members of the USG body.
