    Fall 2008 is almost here! Look for Off Campus Housing! Be sure to review renters rights. Read and understand your lease before you sign.
    		 
    Surplus Allocations
    3/21/08

    USG approved four different proposals for use of the Surplus. $23,500 for a bike rental program, $4,000 for Prince's Point renovations, $6,000 for renovation of the upper SDC soccer field and $9,000 for an outdoor movie screen.    		  
    NEW SDC Projects Page

    USG wants to keep students updated on new projects the SDC is planning that will be funded by the SDC support Fee. Make sure to check it for updates about Sherman Field and MacInnes Ice Arena renovations!
    NEW USG Office

    USG has just moved into the office previously known as the Tech Express office outside the MUB Store.  We hope that the improved exposure will help us communicate with students, so stop by and say hey.
    Become a USG Associate

    USG is currently piloting a program to get more students involved on USG, since we only have a limited number of Representative positions.  Students interested can request to join the USG Associates Committee and become a USG Associate by emailing usg@mtu.edu , stop by our office in MUB 106 or attend our meetings Wed. 7pm MUB Ballroom. Associates would have a only few responsibilities and no voting rights.
    MUB Renovation Plans

      The Memorial Union Building is working on plans to update the MUB Ballroom this summer and next summer build a 3 story glass stair entryway to ballroom and renovate the Commons as well as the Student Org offices.
